We apologize that the LoveHurts.com website is no longer offering products for sale. Our parent company, PriveCo Inc. is still in business and operating ShopInPrivate.com, Vibrators.com and RomanticGifts.com, but LoveHurts.com is no longer taking orders.

In 1998 PriveCo was begun with the idea that some things are embarrassing to buy in person. We started selling hemorrhoid creams, condoms and sexual items online. We offered the most private shopping service you could ever imagine and people seemed to enjoy it.
What started as an online drugstore branched out into vibrators, bachelorette party items, and romantic gifts. In our search for embarrassing products to sell we found bondage gear. We thought our privacy policies and bondage gear would make a great fit. In 2006 we opened LoveHurts.com (we bought the name and built the site).
The site did OK. Not great, not terribly, just OK. We would sell and ship a few orders a week. If we were hobbyists, this would be OK, but we are not. PriveCo is an operation that takes peoples' privacy very seriously. We want to be great at it! We were not great at selling bondage gear.
In 2008 it started to become clear that we could not compete. Other sites had graphic pictures of the gear in use and offer lots of pornography. We don't do that type of thing (not private enough for us). Other sites were founded by people who are serious bondage enthusiasts. Our company is made up of writers, nerds and family-types.
As 2010 dawned we have decided to give up the flame. We have closed LoveHurts.com. It was a fun experiment, but it just didn't work out. I hope you will visit one of our other sites. We are particularly proud of Vibrators.com.
